At BCC we have God’s heartbeat for our town, nation and to all nations. We want to see His kingdom established here on earth.

Only one life, twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last” CT Studd

Is with a heavy heart we write to inform all our church family and friends of BCC that our beloved Pastor Emeritus, Dr John Nabi, passed away on 18th January after a short illness.

He ran his race and reached the finish line with courage, determination, boldness and to the glory of God, he lived a life worthy of his calling. He has received his crown.

In over fifty years of ministry our beloved Pastor was a spiritual father, mentor and example to many many people who passed through the doors of BCC. He has left and enduring legacy in all our hearts and his influence has stretched far beyond these four walls of BCC into the nations and continents. Whether you knew Pastor Nabi for a long time or for just a short while, when you were with him, you knew you were standing in the presence of a spiritual giant and yet, one of the meekest men you’d ever meet.  Pastor Nabi was never one to seek adulation or praises of men.  He sought only to honour and serve his Lord and Master Jesus Christ.

Pastor Nabi you were a faithful servant from the moment you bowed your knee and made Jesus your Lord. We thank God for your life and your witness.  You will not be forgotten. We look forward to our glorious reunion.

All his life in this world and all his adventures had only been the cover and the title page: now at last he is beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before.” The Last Battle” (1956) CS Lewis
